Have not ever delt with data mining, but I found an interesting tool for visualizing data. It's the Miner3D - Visual Data Analysis Software for Business Intelligence and Science.
Bug / Issue Trackers
I've been working on getting my PMP (Project Manager Professional) certification. While doing so, I have been reviewing materal and came to a part about an Issue log. This got me thinking about finding a server / client component I could use. I discovered a version of RT3 which is a tracker tool I use at work, but also saw Trac which is another tool. I decided I will look at both and see how they compare. Trac at least seems to provide default capabilities in Eclipse with the Mylyn plugin, so this may be preferrible. I forgot that Bugzilla is also available as well. We'll see how it goes.
Testing Blog Post Entry editor
I've been toying some with a recent Fedora release which I am doing to also compare it against my past experience with a recent Ubuntu release. I am an old school Redhat but have been using Ubuntu recently. I will discuss this more at a later time.
But while doing so, I found this Blog Post Entry editor available which I am going to try out. I encountered a problem initally, but this turned out to be a problem with not having blogged in a while and blogger.com has changed things up. I corrected this and was able to log in correctly. Here goes my first post with it. Wish me luck.
