While talking with my wife and her school's principal, we started talking about computer software for use with school administrative tasks. In the process, he mentioned the possibility of using
Power School. This is a web based systems for maintain, reporting, and interactions with school related record keeping. They also have
additional training.
In the process of looking at this, they also made mention of School's Interoperability Framework's (SIF) (and FAQ for vendors, a FAQ for SIF Certification; specifications; available products; test suites; and Education Software and Technology Application Registry Tool)
